The short version

Spacetime Metric Engineering collects no personal data. No accounts. No email capture. No analytics. No cookies. No telemetry. No tracking.

Web companion (spacetimemetric.koydo.app)

The web companion is a static site. It loads no third-party scripts, sets no cookies, and runs no analytics. Your web browser will load HTML, CSS, images, and audio/video files from the same domain; that traffic is visible to your internet service provider and to the CDN serving the site, in the same way any web request is. We add no instrumentation on top of that baseline.

Mobile app (iOS + Android)

The mobile app stores listening progress on your device only, via the standard OS-provided shared-preferences mechanism. That data never leaves your device. No copy of it reaches our servers — we have no servers for this purpose.

The mobile app makes no network requests beyond loading its own bundled audio and video assets. No analytics SDK is installed. No crash reporter sends data to us. No advertising identifier is read.

Audio and video assets

The audio narration is generated by text-to-speech systems (Google Cloud Text-to-Speech and ElevenLabs); the visuals are generated by Manim, OpenAI image-generation, Sora (if used in a future version), and supplemented with public-domain stock astronomy footage from NASA, ESA/Hubble, and other public archives. The lecture scripts themselves are original editorial work by the project's editorial team, sourced from the Ashton Forbes YouTube channel and the published-paper corpus of the credentialed scientists whose work is presented.

Children

The series is intended for motivated learners of any age — explicitly including the curious teenager. The app collects no data from any user, including children, beyond on-device listening progress.

If you contact us

Email sent to hello@spacetimemetric.koydo.app reaches the editorial team. The contents of any email you send are read and retained for as long as the conversation continues. No mailing list is built from contact emails. Inquiries are not shared with any third party.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if a future version of the app introduces a feature that requires network requests — the change will be posted here with an updated Last updated date, and the previous version will be preserved in the project repository's git history.
